Quick Setup (Phantom) #

Mobile Setup #

1. Download Phantom from your app store
2. Create Wallet - Tap "Create New Wallet"
3. Save Recovery Phrase - Write down all 12 words securely
4. Set Password - Choose a strong password
5. Enable Biometrics - Face ID or fingerprint for easy access

Desktop Setup #

1. Install Extension - Go to phantom.app
2. Create Wallet - Click "Create New Wallet"
3. Secure Recovery Phrase - Save your 12-word phrase offline
4. Set Password - Protect your wallet access

Funding Your Wallet #

You'll need some SOL and/or USDT to use SolSplitter:

Getting SOL (for transaction fees) #

Minimum recommended: ~0.1 SOL ($10-20 worth)

Where to buy:

• Centralized Exchanges: Coinbase, Binance, Kraken
• Direct Purchase: MoonPay, Ramp (credit card to wallet)

Getting USDT (for stable-value splits) #

Where to get:

• Swap SOL → USDT using Jupiter directly in Phantom
• Transfer from exchanges that support Solana USDT

Connecting to SolSplitter #

1. Visit app.solsplitter.com
2. Click "Connect Wallet"
3. Select your wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.)
4. Approve connection in your wallet popup
5. You're connected! 🎉

Security Best Practices #

• Never share your recovery phrase with anyone
• Store recovery phrase offline - write on paper, keep in safe place
• Use strong passwords - unique password for your wallet
